What’s Included in Your Website Design Project
Everything you need to know about working with Drio on a website design project
Your website is your business’s digital home, the face of your brand, and a critical sales tool. Needless to say, it’s got to provide a seamless user experience and appeal to your ideal clients. It should be beautiful, professional, authentic to your brand, and crafted for conversions.
We design creative, strategy-driven websites that solve problems and help you reach your brand’s biggest goals. If you’re looking for a website that matches your business’s growth and does more than look pretty (though it’ll certainly do that too), you’re in the right place.
Here’s the low-down on what to expect when working with Drio on a website design project.
What’s Included in Your Website Design Project
Your project includes design and build for each of your web pages, website hosting, and training videos to help you maintain your new website.

- Home Page
- About Page
- Team Page
- Services Page
- Portfolio Page
- Blog Page
- Contact Page

Our 4-Step Process
Our 4-step process is clear, collaborative, and strategy-driven. We want you to feel truly listened to, while also freeing you up to focus on your zone of genius. You’ll get a hands-on approach that leverages our left brain + right brain duo so you can bring your dreams to life.
1. Discovery (2-3 weeks)
We’ll start with a Kick-off Meeting with your key players. We’ll work with you to understand your unique audience segments and offerings so we can create your new site map and Information Architecture. (In other words: What pages you need and what the customer journey on your website will be.)
Next, we’ll work with you to collect and organize your finalized website content. If you want to make content changes to your content after this phase, a change order will be issued.
2. Design (3-4 weeks)
Now for the fun part where the magic comes together!
First, we’ll create your homepage design and share it with you for review. After you sign off on your homepage, we’ll design your other page templates. We’ll have built-in approval checkpoints along the way, with plenty of opportunities for feedback.
Finally, we’ll present your initial site design in our test environment.
3. Development (4-5 weeks)
Once you’ve approved the overall design and templates, we’ll build out the rest of your pages. We’ll also perform our testing checklist to review your site for browser and mobile compatibility.
4. Launch + Project Debrief
Once we push your website live, our job doesn’t end there. We’ll help you launch with a bang for maximum impact. We’ll also make sure your team is set up to easily update and maintain your website.
Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the investment for your web design projects?
Our projects start at $15,000, which includes 6-9 web pages. Additional pages incur an extra fee. Time and time again, we’ve seen the investment into a professional, strategic digital home pay off for our clients and we’d love to help you achieve the same.
What do I have to prepare before working with you on a web design project?
First and foremost, you’ll need to know your business’s marketing goals. Be prepared to tell us about how things are going and where you want to grow. You’ll also want to have a very solid understanding of your ideal clients.
That said, if you need some help defining the nitty gritty of any of these things, no problem. During the discovery phase, we’ll walk you through our process of uncovering all the most important details.
Besides that, you’ll need to provide your written content and photos (eg. headshots, team photos, etc.). If you need help sourcing a copywriter for your content, let us know. Ideally, you also have a pre-existing visual brand strategy, such as a logo and primary color palette.
What kind of businesses do you work with?
Our specialties are women-owned, service-based businesses in technical and creative fields or non-profits that have been in business for 3 to 5 years.
That said, if your business doesn’t fit that description, please feel free to reach out so we can see if we can help! We’re happy to work with other brands who align with our values, have a flourishing business, and are ready to invest in strategic partners for their website design.
