Drio partnered with the Mechanical Contractors Association of Metropolitan Washington (MCAMW) to redesign and develop their primary website, focusing on effectively showcasing their mission, vision, and values to a diverse group of stakeholders, including current and prospective member contractors, industry partners, and the wider community.

The central goal was to craft a cohesive and compelling online narrative that would not only represent the organization's principles but also serve as a vital resource hub. This involved creating a modern, user-friendly platform that could seamlessly integrate with their core business tools.

The primary technical challenge involved integrating the website with MCAMW’s association management tool, Glue Up. The association needed key data, specifically their member contractors directory and their events calendar, to be displayed dynamically on the new website, but managed centrally within Glue Up.

We developed a custom API integration to pull real-time data from Glue Up directly into the new WordPress website. This allowed for the creation of a dynamic, automatically updated Member Contractor Directory and various events feeds across the site, ensuring all organizational information is accurate and current without manual duplication. This required close collaboration with the MCAMW team and their Glue Up representative to ensure the connection was robust, secure, and delivered a seamless user experience.

In line with best practices, we prioritized the development of a user-friendly WordPress back-end. This approach provides the MCAMW team with the necessary tools and flexibility to easily update content, manage imagery, and scale the site as the association grows, ensuring the website remains a valuable asset for years to come.
