Project Scope
Agency 102, a certified woman-owned small business in Maryland, sought a website redesign to support their evolving business needs. Founded by Hannah Mizelle during the pandemic, the agency has rapidly grown into a boutique marketing firm. As they began pursuing larger clients, they needed a site that could more effectively reflect their brand identity and serve as a powerful lead-generation tool. Additionally, they wanted a site that would be easy to maintain and update in-house, especially for uploading blogs, case studies, and resources.
Challenges and Solutions
The client’s original website, built on a basic template, no longer aligned with the growing stature of their brand. While it had served its purpose initially, the design lacked the sophistication needed to appeal to their expanding clientele. To address this, we developed a modern, visually appealing site that captured Agency 102’s expertise in storytelling and data-driven marketing. This updated design was crafted to resonate with larger clients while reinforcing the agency's position as a boutique firm committed to transparency and results.
In addition to aesthetic challenges, the previous site posed significant backend issues that made managing and uploading content cumbersome. Blog posts and case studies often appeared inconsistent, hindering the user experience. We restructured the site to provide a more intuitive and user-friendly content management system, enabling the client to easily update and maintain the website internally without formatting difficulties. This improvement ensures a smoother workflow for the agency as they continue to expand their content library.
Moreover, the previous website lacked a clear strategy for lead generation. We addressed this by integrating HubSpot forms and optimizing key areas for conversions. The new site encourages users to submit contact forms, book discovery calls, download resources, and sign up for newsletters, all with the goal of driving qualified leads and supporting business growth.
Summary
This 4-week website project resulted in a visually compelling, high-performance website that reflects Agency 102’s brand values and business objectives. The new design elevates their digital presence and functions as a powerful lead-generation tool. Additionally, the improved backend functionality ensures that content can be easily updated in-house, providing long-term value and usability.
